GLITCHMATH

Love Roblox? Beat the Math Boss to Unlock Gaming Secrets.

Roblox is really thousands of games in one, so GlitchMath organizes Roblox rewards by experience. A player picks an experience, such as Blox Fruits, Grow a Garden or Dress to Impress, chooses a guide, then beats 4 math problems to unlock it.

Roblox players already think in numbers: upgrade costs, cooldowns, crop timers and trade values. Our challenges use that same kind of thinking, from ratios for younger players to equations and functions for older ones.

Problem 1 of 1 ยท Unit rates

A garden earns 45 coins every 3 minutes. How many coins in 20 minutes?

Where the math hides in Roblox

Rates and ratios

Working out how many coins per minute a farm produces is the same skill as 6th and 7th grade unit rates.

Equations

"How many more upgrades until I can afford it?" is a two-step equation in disguise.

Exponential growth

Prices that double each level are a natural way to meet exponential functions in high school.

How the math works

  1. A parent sets the player's grade. Problems come from topics 1-2 grades above it.
  2. The player picks a Roblox reward and solves 4 problems. All 4 right unlocks it.
  3. Any miss shows a step-by-step solution, then the player can retry with 4 fresh problems.
